High capacity Rubber or Thermoplastic Rubber(TPR) and soft rubber wheels are used in all industries but are very common in institutional, medical and food service for a quiet more cushioned ride.
Polyurethane wheels are used for applications with higher weight capacity demands. They have a hard tread than rubber but still offer some cushion and floor protection. Polyurethane wheels have an assortment of cores, like steel, nylon and aluminum, and are very durable.
Phenolic wheels are a best seller and offer the heavy duty capacities of steel without corrosion and offer better floor protection than steel.
Heavy duty Metal wheels offer extremely high weight capacities and handle high temperatures, these wheels are used where flooring damage is not a concern (unfinished concrete).
