Steel wheels are extremely durable but offer no floor protection at all and can corrode in high moisture applications like extended periods outdoors and wash downs. If you need to protect the floors you may need to go with a polyurethane or rubber wheel.
These wheels can be used with a stem mount caster or plate mount caster, plate mount will offer more strength for your heavy duty carts, dollies and equipment.

These casters come with many options from bearings to brakes if you are looking for a locking caster. Select these in the options sections of the product page. Cast Iron are the most common and best selling metal wheel if you have a more extreme application we do offer the ductile and drop forged wheels.
