Gate Casters
Are you in need of replacing your existing gate caster or do you need to support a mechanical or moving fence or gate? These high quality gate casters are designed specifically for use on gates and sliding or rotating doors and provides a shock absorbing ride over uneven ground. The compression spring helps support the weight of the gate/door to assist in keeping it on an even or level plain. When choosing a gate caster, consider these factors; Gate size, gate weight, floor conditions, environment, and the slope of the floor. See item description and technical specs. We offer a wide selection of gate casters and gate wheels from light duty to heavy duty steel casters. These are zinc coated to resist corrosion and have a typical selection of wheels to choose from. Most of these casters offer about an inch of spring deflection, so if there is more than 1" of slope the casters will not work properly. Due the typical outdoor use of these casters we recommend a corrosion resistant wheel. The bracket and spring assembly are made from zinc coated steel and are corrosion resistant but may corrode over time.
Excellent choice for light to heavy duty mechanical gates and several other applications.

We recommend using a 6" caster when the space between the ground and the gate is less than 9-1/2" and an 8" caster when 9-1/2" or higher.
